Barcelona face transfer shocker as Wolfsburg step in for Santos sensation Gabigol

 

 

 

Fc.Barcelona may be forced into an early decision over Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa.
The 18 year-old has been in sensational form for Santos, where he has been dubbed 'Gabigol'.
Barca hold first refusal on Barbosa as part of their deal for Neymar in 2013. But Gazeta Esportiva says Wolfsburg have made contact with Santos and are willing to offer a massive €30 million for the teen.
Barbosa is tied to Santos until 2019, with his buyout clause set at €50 million.
However, Santos coach Enderson Moreira conceded: "Santos are experiencing financial difficulties, and we cannot afford to keep a player when they have good deals abroad. Gabriel has great qualities but still needs improvement."
Complicating matters for Barca is they face a 2015 ban from both transfer windows, which could lead to Santos being forced to sell Barbosa to Wolfsburg.
Barca expect a final ruling on the FIFA ban next month.
